Backs to school and park, lots of room. Rec room downstairs with TV, Xbox, sectional couch, mini climbing wall and mini weight gym. Trampoline, BBQ, fire pit and big table out back that fits everyone. Also out back, 3 bunnies in outdoor hutch to visit (but no need to take care of!). We do have an outdoor cat that comes in to eat and sleep at night. Big deck overlooks park with great mountain views. HOTTUB!! Easy bike path access.

Summary: We spent a wonderful family-focused week between Christmas to New Year's at this beautiful house. Everything was as pictured and described. Dan and Darcy went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Their home provided room for us to be together, as well as plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our week in Boulder. The fully stocked kitchen and available grill made cooking easy. The views from the deck and access to the park & playground were perfect for enjoying the area. Located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood, the house was only a quick drive from downtown Boulder, and grocery stores were within a few minutes of the house. Grandsons enjoyed visiting the bunnies, petting the friendly cat Lucy who came & went on her own schedule, playing in the park, hanging out in the basement rec room, etc. We all played board games and could fit our entire family on the comfy sectional in the family room for movie night. The unfortunate need to spend some time connected to the office was easily accomplished with the good WiFi signal. Communication with the owners was easy. We arrived to warm-ish weather and left with 6-8 inches of snow on the ground, and thoroughly enjoyed our entire time. One unexpected issue was a family member having an allergic reaction which we thing was triggered by feather pillows, When we have a chance to return (which we hope to do!) we'll check for foam pillows in the room he stays in next time as there seem to be some of each in the house. All together we could not have asked for a better place to stay while visiting my parents who recently moved to Boulder and gathering with our adult children and grandsons!
