2 Bedroom House in Regional District of Nanaimo, Parksville

Located between Parksville and Qualicum Beach (10-15 min either way) and across the road from Columbia Beach which offers suntanning & swimming (summer), paddleboarding, windsurfing (fall, winter, spring) and beachcombing. Sunsets are amazing through summer!
Breakfast food is provided (self prepare): 2 eggs/person/day, coffee, tea, toast, & jam. If you have any dietary concerns you will have to provide your own food.
The unit has 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen and living room and is separated from the rest of the house with locked doors. Guests have also access to the backyard patio (table & chairs) and outdoor shower on the side of the house.
The kitchen is fully supplied with kitchenware for 4 guests along with a stove, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle. There is no dishwasher but a dishwasher mat, drying stand and towels are provided.
One bedroom has a queen size bed and a work space. The second bedroom a single bed with a single mattress underneath the bed that can be pulled out for use on the floor.
The TV is setup with Roku (Guest Mode). You can access your streaming service accounts like Netflix, Prime Video and Disney +. Just sign out of guest mode when you leave and all account information is deleted.
Guest parking is on the right side of the property on a gravel rock path. The parking space is 45ft long & can accommodate a truck/boat.
Entrance to the unit is down the gravel pathway along the side of the house to the backyard patio. The unit is accessed through the sliding glass door with a key that is located in the lockbox mounted next to the sliding door.
We have 2 dogs that will bark or get excited when people come to the front door. They will not be in any area occupied by the guests including the patio in the backyard.

Summary: The location was exceptionally good, close to the beach, the room as a B&B was disappointing with furniture falling apart, the kitchen table was a desk used as a table with sharp edges, the chairs in the kitchen were so bad that I had to put a pillow to support me and I'm not a heavy person, the dish soap, the dish soap was diluted and hard to clean dishes properly ,the bed was nothing but a foam mattress and the headboard, there was a space between the headboard and the mattress which our pillows kept on sliding between the board and the mattress, no closet to hang our clothes in the bedroom, second bedroom had bunkbeds taken apart and made into twin beds(poor), being an Host he could have come down and ask if everything was ok, never seen him after he gave us the key for the place. In all the location was real good but the place need more attention from the Host.
