Fishing, swimming, canoe + life jackets available. Bring your own kayaks or boats under 30 mph OK. Propane heater heats ev. corner of the cabin, 3/4 private bath & shower, full gas stove, new microwave, new fridge,'14. Internet(DSL)+ printer; TV and radio/CD player available. Water OK for showers & washing dishes, but *bring in your own drinking water!* Bring your own sheets (double/master), and 2 twin sets, plus another double for sofabed, and bring your own towels. Nearby Caspian Lake in Greensboro has a public beach, an ice cream store and the famous Willey's country store, is nearby, so take a picnic lunch to the public beach, plus your beach towels, hats, sunglasses and a favorite book for after a brisk swim in Caspian Lake, with grassy spots and picnic tables nearby--what a warm summer afternoon for something different to do! On your way in from I-91, exit before the one for Hardwick, the one with the hospital sign, and at the bottom of the hill is a Price Chopper, about 30 min. from Coles Pond. Ahead, on Vt. Rte. 15, just before Danville, is Marty's First Stop, a great small market with local produce, and most provisions, plus Irving gas station. If coming in off of I-89, taking the Rte.100 exit to Stowe and Morrisville, there's another Price Chopper in Morrisville. Otherwise, there's a Tops grocery store in Hardwick, and there's always Willey's for any grocery, hardware, T-shirts + in-between, in Greensboro.
