Villa Zamari awaits you for a fun and relaxing holiday in the Istrian hinterland! The beautiful Villa Zamari is located in a small village surrounded by nature and only a few minutes away from Pazin. Pazin is a small, historically rich town that has a lot to offer and is only about 30 kilometres away from other tourist towns. For centuries, Pazin was the strongest Habsburg fortress in the area and the headquarters of the former prince. You can still visit this medieval castle (Kastel) today, as it is well preserved. Today it houses the Ethnographic Museum of Istria and the Museum of the Town of Pazin. You can also visit churches in this area, as six of them are protected by the Croatian Cultural Heritage. One of them, the Church of St Mary in Beram (between Pazin and Porec), is world-famous for the Istrian fresco of the Dance of Death from 1474. The Istrian hinterland also offers much more than just culture. If you are a nature lover, you have come to the right place. Enjoy hiking, zipline or take a gastro bike tour to try Istrian specialities. Be sure to visit the Pazin stream, where you can admire small waterfalls, ponds and even caves. You can also swim in this pure nature in summer. If you want to get to know Istria better, visit Porec, Rovinj or Pula.
