We are five minutes from the heart of South Congress. Enjoy the joyous vibrancy of South Austin - you walk, peddle, or hitch to the center of the Austin universe from here! Spectacular selection of bars and restaurants with multi-cuisine and get options, all within immutable distance. When you have had enough commotion, step back into your home, kick back, and relax, binging on Roku or the pool, sipping some ale!
Austin SoCo breeze is a beachy-themed abode. In the living room, you will be greeted by a comfy couch that can be transitioned into a bed. A 40" tv with Roku will give you copious channels across the streaming network. There is a work desk to finish homework or paperwork before bedtime and a sitting area to kick back with your favorite book.
The dining room features seating for 4 people and the walls are adorned with fun pictures of the beach.
Our kitchen is large and features a gas stove with oven, blender, toaster, microwave, mini waffle maker, brita water filter, bowls and pans as well as ample storage space, a full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. No need to spend your days eating out when you can cook in this large space.
Bedroom has a queen size bed with brand new foam mattress. Bedside tables hold a mini reading lamp and a chair in the corner acts as a perfect reading nook. Room is spacious and can fit our queen size air mattress for an additional guest. Bedroom also has a dresser and dock like lighting that you can leave on late night to feel like you are actually by the sea.
Large walk in closet with iron, ironing board, laundry basket, spare comforter, pillows and linens for the air mattress.
Bathroom is accessible thru the dining area and also has ample storage space and features beachy decor with a jewelry box to keep your smaller items organized.
In the event of a rainy day - we leave one of our favorite board games in the unit for you and there is an umbrella near the front door to get you too and from the space. Or maybe its a bit hot - grab the beachy hat on the bedroom wall and enjoy a day in Zilker Park.
Apartment also has a small patio out the other side of the building that is on accessible via your unit. Its a neat place to watch the sky.
Front living room has two LARGE closets that house extra coat hangers and the queen size air mattress.
Space is located at the end of the building on the second floor immediately next to the staircase.
Small by comfy pool in the center of the complex ready for you to have an outdoor day in the sun and water.
Unit is accessible via a lock box. You will be given the code the day of in an effort to ensure the privacy of the current guest. Keys must be put back in the lock box at the end of your stay or a re-key fee may be required to gain access.
Property is located in South Austin - within walking distance of St David's Hospital - South Austin. While the space is very close to Ben White Blvd and Menchaca, you don't seem to hear any traffic from inside the apartment. Ive spent many nights here wondering why its so quiet inside. And the A/C can really get cold if needed. If you are commuting for work at all - this is a close proximity to all major Austin freeways.
