Positive: The location in the middle of this beautiful town was fantastic, and having my own parking space very close by made it possible to visit. Not being a French speaker, I was pleased that I was able to communicate with the very friendly and helpful staff in English and in German.
Negative: It's unfair to say I didn't like this, as I was well aware before I booked that the room would be a few flights up, but between my lousy sense of direction and my dodgy knee, finding my way up to the room and down to the outside world was more complicated than expected. :-) (Seriously, they did a fantastic job turning an ancient building into a modern hotel, and having to negotiate several staircases to get to our room was NOT a real problem!!!!)
Summary: Lovely ancient hotel w modern rooms, in beautiful town centre, fantastic price, free parking!
