Positive: Customer service is outstanding. Staff (including every cleaning lady we met in the corridors) would greet us with smiles and hellos). The front desk staff went out of their way to help us retrieve our power banks which were confiscated from us at Chongqing airport before our flight to Shanghai (apparently they did not have CCC marking on them which meant they were not allowed on domestic flights), and they were posted to this hotel the day before we checked out. Rooms were comfortable, good location close to the Bund, breakfast had a good variety and appreciate the free laundry facilities.

Negative: There was a bit of construction noise from building next door.

Summary: Exceptional customer service, clean and comfortable stay close to the Bund and great value.
