Aster Cottage is located within the picturesque village of Kirkoswald and is within walking distance of the two local pubs, both of which serve excellent food. It is set back from the road, down a quiet lane opposite the village shop, which leads to Raven Beck where there is a bench from which you can enjoy the early sun. Built in local red Lazonby sandstone, this non-smoking bijou cottage accommodates two people and one dog (please enquire if you wish to bring more than one dog, we are happy to discuss). The cottage has a small well-equipped kitchen which leads into the lounge, complete with a log burning stove for those cooler evenings, and a small dining area. A stable door leads to a non-enclosed paved seating area for two. The stairs lead off the lounge up to a shower room and a double bedroom that overlooks Raven Beck. Facilities include a dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge with a small freezer compartment, TV, DVD, DAB Radio with Bluetooth and of course wi-fi. Bed linen and towels are included.
