3 Bedroom Cabin in Blue Ridge
This is a custom built cabin on top of Deer Crest Overlook in rustic Aska Adventure area. There are long range mountain views of Tennessee and the Cohutta range from main and lower decks; and more from the master bedroom and top deck. You will begin to absorb the breathtaking lake views of lake Blue Ridge from the paved drive up from Snake Nation Rd. to our cabin. Once you enter the cabin, the prow-front windows allow you to see the entire Cohutta range and the town of Blue Ridge off in the distance.
The cabin is impeccably decorated with rustic mountain furniture and decor. Three fireplaces are provided - two gas inside and one wood burning located on a fully furnished outdoor covered deck. It has high-speed internet wifi access throughout.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, remote controlled ceiling light and fan, huge walk-in closet, walk-in tiled shower, jacuzzi tub, and a large walk-out deck with views. The queen bedroom is located on the main level, convenient to kitchen. It has a large bathroom with walk-in tiled shower. The lower level bedroom is a kid's paradise, with a queen bed and bunk-beds, flat screen TV with X-box games, on same floor as all other entertainment amenities listed below.
The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, microwave, garbage disposal, gas range and side-by-side refrigerator. There is a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig coffee machine for your enjoyment. The dining area is furnished with a large lodge style table that seats 10 comfortably, with a view! You can also dine outside at a large round table on the main deck.
The living area has a stone fireplace, comfortable sofa and love seat, and hand-made rustic mountain furniture with more views! A smart TV (use your own streaming service subscription) and Dolby stereo (with bluetooth) is also available on the main level. A wooden cabinet holds board games, maps, and info on area attractions. The covered deck/porch area has a wood burning fireplace, comfortable patio furniture, and a gas grill should you decide to stay in to fillet a local catch trout meal!
The lower level is fully equipped with recreation items such as pool table combo ping-pong table, large wet bar, 50 inch TV(with Roku - use your own streaming service), surround sound stereo with CD player, X-box, Miss Pac-Man arcade, and walk-out to hot tub deck area and MORE views of the long range mountains. A pull out couch with queen sized mattress placed in front of our stone fireplace is a most cozy addition! A washer/dryer combo and full size bathroom also complement this level of the cabin.
The lower Deck area includes a 6-person Dynasty hot tub with LED lights and also stereo speakers. There is a swing and a seating area on this full deck, and access to the mountainside 1.5 acre lot.
The layout of this cabin is ideal for two couples with children, or a large family that can spread out across three levels - each with it's own deck, bedroom, and bathroom. We also recommend this for a group of adults planning a weekend of trout fishing, whitewater rafting, serious hikers/bikers(Aska trails are 10 min. away), or just kicking back in the quiet serene mountains only 1.5 hr drive from the north side of Atlanta or Alpharetta.
