The Ark boasts a fully functioning kitchen, including electric oven, gas cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. If you want to completely relax and bring food to heat up or if your relaxation includes whipping up your favourite delights, this kitchen is ideal. With a full size fridge there is plenty of room for your food and beverages. If you prefer to cook outside there is a bbq on the deck where you can cook while watching the pelicans and swans on the river. Additional little touches include a Nespresso compatible pod machine, a Nutri-bullet for the health conscious smoothie lovers and a toasty maker. Pantry staples include tea, coffee, sugar, long life milk, cooking oil, salt and pepper. Enjoy your breakfast at the breakfast bar which opens onto the front deck, taking in the picturesque views of the river and enjoy the variety of birdlife that gather around the home. The breakfast bar is also equipped with a power point and USB connection providing a laptop friendly workspace where you can utilise the free WiFi.
The bedroom is perfectly situated for you to wake up to the tranquil views of the Murray River. Equipped with a motorised blind, you can stay in bed while you welcome in the morning sunshine. Picture those cold, rainy winter days where you can still escape the chaos and retreat to the peace and quiet of the river. Bring a good book, a pampering face mask and your empty mind to enjoy a cosy winter hideaway. To ensure you are comfortable all year round the home has split system heating and cooling in the living area.
Our decking area is complete with sun lounges to soak up the beautiful Australian sunshine. We have 2 kayaks for you and your friend to enjoy on the river. In the evenings you can rug up on the egg chairs and take in the most spectacular uninterrupted night skies.
Hidden around the corner of the decking is a hot water outdoor shower for a quick rinse off after your swim. But the best is yet to come! Further along the side decking is our hot water bath tub. Enjoy bathing in this luxury tub, letting the worries of the world soak away while nestled amongst the willow trees.
