Arabia Cottage is a traditional Cornish cottage which has been extensively renovated and furnished to a very high standard. No expense has been spared and no corners cut in making this an ideal base for your holiday. The downstairs features an open plan kitchen, living and dining area and the upstairs has three bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is also a 'studio' which is accessed via the garden containing a large sofa, tv and playstation to keep teenagers happy. The typically Cornish terraced garden has a variety of well-stocked borders and provides wonderful views over the village and harbour and out to sea. The cottage benefits from a parking space in a small private car park approximately 100 yds up the hill. A well behaved dog is welcome by arrangement. Arabia Cottage is located approximately 200 yds from the harbour and beach in the traditional fishing village of Port Isaac. Port Isaac consists of a fascinating jumble of old cottages and houses clustered around a beautiful sheltered harbour, sitting between steep hills to all sides. There are many small lanes and alleyways to explore in the old part of the village, which has kept its original charm and character and is unspoilt by commercialism. The village is regularly used as a location for film and television, and was the location for the television series 'Doc Martin'. It is also home to Port Isaac 'Fishermas Friends' who occasionally perform on the harbour during the summer. You will be spoilt for choice for places to eat in Port Isaac, with its excellent pubs, restaurants - including Nathan Outlaws Fish Kitchen - and take aways. Self-caterers are also well provided for with bakeries, fish cellars by the quay, and a small co-op at the top of the hill.
