Appalachian Joy is a beautiful, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full log cabin that sleeps six in comfort! It is located in a private and secluded natural setting with plenty of parking for your vehicles, including boat or motorcycle trailer. It is our goal to provide a clean, comfortable , high quality home for our guests. It is not only a vacation rental home but our vacation home as well. The furnishings and style reflect our personal touch. We are located just minutes from the fun and excitement of downtown Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We are within 5 miles of Tennessees number one rated Dollywood Theme Park and The Great Smoky Mtns National Park. Close by is Douglas Lake for your boating and fishing enjoyment, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohala Skyway and the Dragon, if your a motorcycle enthusiast. The cabin is two stories, with a level entry, and one step to get inside! You enter into the spacious living room recently furnished with a new sofa bed and matching chair. A stacked river stone backdrop adorns a free standing gas log stove-reminiscent of days gone by. A flat screen TV with Directv Satellite service with High Definition, DVD/VCR player, AM/FM/CD Stero and WIFI are for your enjoyment. The dining room has seating for 4 and there is a large breakfast bar as well. The kitchen overlooks the living area and is perfect for family and get-togethers! There is also a large bedroom and bath located on the main level. The large windows and open beam ceiing add a feeling of spaciousness. The fully equipped kitchen with its hickory cabinets, a glass cooktop stove, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker and dishwasher await you with all the tools needed to prepare your favorite meal. Enjoy eating and relaxing on the open porch with patio table with seating for four plus an umbrella to enjoy the incredible view or you can choose to relax inside at the log table with additional seating at the breakfast counter. A charcoal grill is outside for your grilling enjoyment. The first level bedroom has a beautiful wooden queen bed complete with a dresser and two night stands, full length bench, closet and flat screen TV with Direct TV satellite and 2 person Jacuzzi tub. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bath with shower and a stackable full size washer/dryer, convenient to the living room as well. The loft level bedroom has a queen bed, matching dresser, night stand, chest of drawers spacious closet and flat screen TV. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bath with shower and separate 2 person Jucuzzi tub. Whether you are a party of two, a family, or enjoying a friends getaway, you will find everything you need for a memorable vacation in the mountains! Enjoy the three season screen porch with mountain views, an oversized hot tub and lots of privacy for your enjoyment and relaxation!
