Positive: This is a lovely modern ground floor apartment across the road from the open space of Turia Gardens Park. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole place is accurately represented by the description and photos. A secure underground private parking place was available and easily accessed off the main road at the front of the building. Mario from ‘ApartUp’ communicated via WhatsApp and was there to greet us on arrival at 10:30pm (additional charge as expected). His detailed explanations and friendly advice about restaurants was very helpful, thanks Mario. A steady walk to the Cathedral from here took about 25 minutes passing by the Botanical Gardens and through the City gates. Catching a bus outside the apartment block (fixed price of 2 Euro using contactless debit card on entry) took us the length of Turia Gardens, past the modern arts and science area and on to the Marina and beach. A large and sensibly priced supermarket was a couple of minutes walk round the back of the apartment.
Summary: Enjoyable 5 nights stay exploring Valencia city and nearby areas.
