Positive: I was very satisfied with my stay – the apartment fully met my expectations. It’s a small but quite new and comfortable studio located right on the main street in El Chaltén. The space includes a small kitchen, which was perfectly adequate for preparing breakfast, a comfortable bed, and a clean bathroom. I also appreciated the possibility to turn on the heating – even in the middle of summer – which was very useful given the unpredictable weather. The host was very kind and helpful throughout my stay.
Negative: If I had to point out any downsides, I’d mention the door insulation. During strong winds – which are quite common in this area – the draft could be felt from the bed and there was a loud whistling noise. Also, breakfast is delivered to the room the day before. While items like yogurt or juice were fine, the pre-made sandwiches didn’t taste fresh the next day. Luckily, there are plenty of cafes and shops nearby, so you can easily prepare your own breakfast or eat out :)
