The small apartment of about 50 square meters is suitable for 2 people. A bedroom with double bed invites you to cuddle. In the living room with pull-out couch you can make yourself comfortable with a book or watch a DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything to make a delicious meal, then to eat it at the dining table in the kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with shower, toilet, hair dryer and make-up mirror. When the weather is nice, you can relax in the large garden on a lounger, just let your mind wander. In both apartments there is an ironing board, iron and a safe.
We warmly welcome you with a cup of tea in Rhauderfehn in our holiday home "Zur alten Bäckerei" with 2 separate apartments. The construction of the Fehnhaus began in 1897. The Fehnhaus, also called Gulfhaus, was then used for the farm, as the peat extraction slowly came to an end. The great-grandparents kept cows, pigs and chickens housed in the house. Only a small part of the house was used as living space. In the house, the ancestors also ran a bakery in which only bread was baked, cake was at the time luxury. Over the years, the house was constantly rebuilt, the animals were abolished and the bakery abandoned. For several years, the Fehnhaus is used as a holiday home.�� Our house is located about 2km from the center. Here you will find numerous shops. Physicians moderate Rhauderfehn is very well placed. The varied landscape and the German Fehnroute can be explored very well by bike or on extensive hiking tours. On the Fehnkanälen you should plan a canoe trip. The paddle and pedal station is in place. Our ice cream parlor "At Bruno" is highly recommended. The ice factory even delivers its delicacies worldwide. You can indulge in other regional restaurants. On request, we also offer free tours in the Gulfhaus Ihrhove, Old Town Leer and in Rhauderfehn.
Arrivals are possible from 14:00 to 18:00 and departures from 08:00 to 10:00.
