Summary: We stayed at the Diamond for a week in July. The Villa certainly lived up to all expectations. The location is great (we flew into Hahn) and all amenities are nearby. The weather was brilliant for the week which was a bonus. The villa has absolutely everything a family of 5 would need. The beds were comfortable and and bedrooms spacious. Having two bathrooms was also welcome. The gardens are lovely, especially the barbeque and garden seating area. We enjoyed having breakfast on the beautiful terrace - complete with sun loungers. There is plenty to do in the area, from hiking to just relaxing. The small town of Herrstein was particularly lovely. We also found a fantastic outdoor swimming pool in Kirn approx 20 mins away - which has a separate kiddies pool, 30 metre swim pool and also a pool complete with slide and water massage area. There are also other good outdoor pools in the vicinity. The restaurants in Idar Oberstein down by the Mineral Musuem and Felsenkirche (10 mins away) were good value for money. Thank you Anna and Klaus, we had a fantastic holiday and we hope to come back again. Veronica & Brian, Cork, Ireland
