The newly built, cozy 2 room apartment on the 2nd floor is located in the lively pedestrian zone of Brühl. You will find numerous restaurants, bars and shops right outside the front door. In only approx. 250 m you reach the castle park with the world cultural heritage castle Augustusburg and in approx. 350 m the Max-Ernst-Museum. A free direct shuttle bus takes you from the DB train station (500m) to Phantasialand. You can reach Cologne Cathedral in 14 minutes with the DB and Bonn's old town in 9 minutes. The tram station „Brühl Mitte” is 10 minutes' walk away.
The spacious 2-room apartment is fully equipped and extends over two floors. On the lower floor you will find the open kitchen with the dining area, the living room and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen with illuminated counter leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to a modern induction stove with integrated extractor hood, there is a fridge and freezer, oven, dishwasher, radio with CD player, coffee maker, kettle and kitchen utensils. Relax in the living room with (sleeping) couch, flat-screen satellite TV and Teufel music system.
In the upper area you will find the bedroom with a French double bed and another bathroom with a bathtub and washer-dryer.

Summary: Don’t pass this place up if near Cologne! This 2-floor, 2-bath, 1 bedroom apartment is, in a word, spectacular. It’s decorated to feel comfortable and homey. It is tastefully furnished, with a full-size refrigerator, nice kitchen, smart TV, strong Wi-Fi, washer/dryer combo that took us a little while to figure out. There is a lovely patio to sit out and enjoy a bottle of wine. Best of all, free parking in a secure, on-site parking garage, but don’t be driving a larger SUV, they don’t make shoehorns big enough. This is a rarity to have a designated parking space. Every detail was there of things i didn’t even think I needed! The location couldn’t be better. It’s on a lengthy pedestrian only street with dozens of restaurants, coffee and pastry shops, and our favorite, ice cream stores specializing in spaghetti eis, and a dozen or more other flavors. The Bahnhof (train station) is a nice, level 15 minute walk, and a quick connection to Cologne for €2.75 per ticket each way. There is also a beautiful Schloss Near the Bahnhof. Finally, our host Brigitte, is a wonderful, helpful, and caring lady. I hope we get to visit Bruhl again soon. Don’t pass this apartment up, it’s a gem!
