Positive: The owner waited for us even though we were delayed by unexpected weather conditions which was really pleasant. We stayed in touch on phone and the owner navigated us when we got lost too so that was awesome. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She even got us baby chair for feeding because I have asked her week in advance. She even allowed my daughter to play with her sons toys. The apartment was nice and clean and pleasantly surprised me as this was my first time being in such a nice place for vacation. Balcony had amazing sea view and I believe the place really was very children friendly. The beach was only 5 minutes far and you could get there with stroller as well (with minor difficulties). There was a baker coming in every day at 8 am so we could buy fresh bakery regardless of the fact that Jagodna does not have any grocery shop. The beach was beautiful and we did not even need water shoes as there were no urchins and there were small rocks and sand. The water was pristine when the weather was nice and the place offered some very nice views. Sveta Nedjelja was relatively close and you could get there easily on foot. We ordered a pizza from one restaurant from the beach and it was awesome. The local specialties looked very tasty too. So if you plan to do some lovely evening dinner you get options. Jelsa was also relatively close and the road was adventurous (Pitve tunnel) so we still got the cultural vibes. The locals in Jagodna were always smiling and friendly. We went there out of season and the place was very calm.
Negative: The apartment was somewhat smaller than images suggested. The bathroom in one of our apartments was particularly small and even though we are not obese we sometimes struggled to move around. I can imagine that if there is someone very overweight they might struggle to walk through. There was also one bedroom which was basically just single bed with a night table. We used that room for changing diapers but I can't imagine sleeping there. We were unfortunate and it was extremely windy during our stay. On windy nights some members of our party did not sleep at all because there were metal bangs and sounds throughout the night. We did not figure out what was the cause but it was as if something was hitting the balcony railing. The noise control overall was bad. We had major issue with getting into the apartment since the road we were expecting to take was under reconstruction. I would have welcomed if the owner had given us some warning in advance so that we would have adjusted our travel plan. Perhaps this is something that the owner should tell their future guests especially since we were coming by van and the other road led through tight tunnel where we barely fit. I did not like how untidy was the area around the apartment. There were bits of broken plastic toys everywhere. I understand that as mother but It just made me sad because this is something that should be cleaned up. Not for the guests but simply to teach kids values of things and nature. I was very surprised at the end of our stay that the owner did not want to inspect the rooms and just told us to leave with apartments unlocked. I felt nervous that someone is going to get in after we leave and damage the property. Jagona beach was small and overcrowded in good weather.
Summary: The weather was extremely bad but despite that we had a good time and great comfort.
