Positive: We arrived by train from Mostar and chose this guesthouse near the train station. The house is very new, likely recently renovated. All amenities and appliances are high-quality, the room was clean, and the price was very reasonable, making it an excellent value. The room wasn't large, but it had a full kitchen with a full-size induction cooktop and oven, though we didn't get to use them. The host's house is next door, but this room had a separate entrance and parking space, giving us a great sense of privacy. The host was very friendly. Although not fluent in English, we were able to communicate using translation apps. There's no air conditioning, but opening the windows was cool enough at night. We arrived in the evening and were caught in heavy rain before dinner, so the host sent us fruit and snacks. Thank you so much!
Negative: The host is probably new to Homestay business, so responses haven't been very prompt, and the location description isn't very clear. Last night, we were caught in a thunderstorm, and it was dark and unclear. The walking route given on Google Maps was quite far. We had to go to the Grand Hotel, where the staff helped call the host, who then pointed us to a shortcut down a slope. If possible, the host should prepare a map showing the route from the train station to the house. Send the location and map to guests before booking a room to make it easier to find. This isn't criticism, but rather a plea for better management and more positive reviews. We sincerely hope this lovely house will be seen by more people.
