Positive: Windows on 3 sides make the apartment light and airy even on a dark winters day, and you can see the mountains all around. Each bathroom has windows, much better than most hotel bathrooms. The in-garage parking is great in messy weather. Kids loved the apartment layout. Lots of space for laying out skiing clothes to dry at the end of the day. Generally quiet apartment block while we were there. Super close to restaurants and supermarket and the new train station hotel. Loads of good hiking trails that start from right there. Heating was good throughout, and good hot hot water after a day skiing. Super convenient to Candanchu and Astun - about 6 mins super easy drive.
Negative: We did not mind it, but be aware there are quite a few flights of stairs to get up and down. Some of the kitchen utensils are a bit the worse for wear and ideally would get replaced (bottle openers, knives, etc). A small thing. There is no store downstairs for ski equipment to dry/air, so it needs to stay at the piste, in the car or come up the many stairs too. Even with young kids we found this was not an issue, but some may find it cumbersome. All these things are not so much issues as things to check u r OK with to then enjoy the place.
