Positive: Anna's Studios is a very attractive building with a beautiful garden of fruit trees and flowers. Anna and family are kind and very helpful - we arrived during a storm and the room I'd booked wasn't right for us (the description on Booking.com implied that room had a double bed and a sofa bed, which it didn't - just a double) So Anna took us to another room which was much more spacious, had 3 singles, and a large sheltered balcony with not only a table and chairs for 4 but also 3 lovely deckchairs! We had to pay extra but it was well worth the money! Next day Anna kindly ask if we needed anything - we were car-less - and bought us a loaf of bread as she was going into Luxouri. She would not let us pay for it. The apartment was great - and just what we needed for a 4 night stay. We ate out most evenings at the taverna in the village - the owner speaks excellent English and the food was delicious. We walked up and down to the beaches - the boat taxi trip to Fteri beach was fun, but we liked Vouti beach best - peaceful, beautiful water and a little beach bar. As we were there at the end of September, the main beach restaurants had closed for the season. A word of warning to those who don't like cats though - there is a very friendly one who comes to investigate new people and just loves to be cuddled on a lap! Once he knows you are friendly, he is almost a constant companion when you are in the apartment. We loved him, but others may not!
