Positive: The location is magic; Francisco was really welcoming and helpful, the apartment was clean, spacious with great WiFi and air-con. Beds so comfortable and had great sleep to counteract jet lag. Saw coatis, spider monkeys, lizards and so many different species of birds. Property really peaceful. Potable water provided :). Lovely to be right on the beach, bit of seaweed and better to have shoes for getting past rocks to swim. Pool small but kept teenagers entertained for hours. Hammocks on the rooftop are blissful. Recommendation to go to Siete Bocas Cenote was a great one.
Negative: The kitchen is not well equipped if you are self catering-lack of basics e.g. one knife, no sieve, couldn’t find a coffee pot for maker. Kitchen not in as good condition as rest of apartment. Just little things would make a big difference. Our apartment was on ground floor so the kitchen was dark and I wouldn’t have liked being there any longer than we were because of it. Odd to have an envelope for cleaning tips when place wasn’t cleaned while we were there. (3 nights). Parking is for the brave as not a lot of space so have to reverse out.
