The house is furnished with period furniture and consists of a living area with kitchen space, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower. There are all the appliances, heating and air conditioning. Outside there is a small courtyard and green spaces owned by the owner of the cottage that can be used by guests but are not fenced. It is 500 meters above sea level. It is 15 km from Siena and San Gimignano, 5 km from Monteriggioni, 35 km from Florence and 2 km from Castellina in Chianti where there are wine bars, bars, typical restaurants, grocery stores, post office, pharmacy and banks. Pets will be welcome as long as they are well behaved. Ideal place to learn about the Tuscan countryside, visit the most beautiful Italian art locations and understand their history and traditions. Summary: I am regular user of vrbo and always read the reviews of properties. It is important to give a balanced view. This property is very nice inside with excellent fittings which are the most modern. There is aircon in both bedrooms but not in the living area. The only negative is that you are right on the gravel road which runs past the house. This is not shown on the web site. The property is ideal for a couple but would be a challenge for more people. A car is essential as you really are over 3 kilometres from the town along a dirt road. The deposit of 400 euro is a bit excessive. The sit out area is very limited as it is right beside the dirt road.
