The Anasazi Glamping Tipi is located at Taos Goji. The tent is a designed to be more like an upscale camping experience. The Tipi has a queen bed, with bedding and down quilt. An extra queen mattress can be requested for two more people at an additional cost. This is part of Taos Goji Eco Lodge Retreat & organic goji farm. Nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains it's 11 mile north of Taos and about 25 miles to north Red River and Taos Ski Areas. Ideally located you can still enjoy the mountain views, aspens and cottonwood trees, silence, and bright stars. There are plenty of scenic hikes around,vmountain bike roads, cross country spots, fishing & driving distance to natural hot springs. The tipi is facing East which overlooks our organic goji berry farm in addition to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Outside are garden furniture and a hammock. There is also an outhouse right outside the cabin. Bathrooms and showers are within walking distance from the tipi. There is also an infrared electric sauna. We offer breakfast with our farm volunteers at 8am and lunch at 1:30 Monday to Friday for a recommended donation. Please give us 24 hours notice! The seasonal cafe has coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pastries, frittata, yoghurt and granola for donations on an honor system. There is an electric and magnetic cooking plate with pots and pans inside the Trading Post plus a fridge, toaster and coffee pot. .In addition, we have tables and chairs inside the Ramada in front and also inside the barn. There are tables and benches inside the barn. As a guest, you will be granted access to 40 acres of walking paths and quiet spots on the farm as well as thousands more in the neighboring Carson National Forest! Fresh organic eggs and veggies are available seasonally. All accommodations are cleaned with biodegradable cleaning products, mostly vinegar, and fragrance-free detergents are used on the linens. Drinking water comes from our deep wells. Our dwellings and farm are now powered by solar energy. Perfectly in between, we are 11 miles to Taos, 20 miles to Taos Ski Valley and 20 miles to Red River Ski Area. A play ground is available for families with children. Dogs are welcome, absolutely no smoking inside. Nearby are opportunities for hiking, fishing, lama trekking, horseback trails. hot air ballooning, and natural hot springs are within driving distance.
