Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property is located at the heart of Lamu town. Close to everything in a short walking distance. It is an ideal property for those who want to live in a typical Swahili property. The property is super clean and the personnel that are taking care of the property are super kind. Safari is very attentive and flexible and always available to guide. At the arrival, they offer to take me from the airport at to guide until the property. They offer 2 bottle of 1.5L of water as a welcome offer. The room have sockets adaptors.
Negative: The price is a bit to high for what it is offered. The room is pretty basic, in which it doesn’t have some facilities such as, mini fridge/minibar, lamp chevet, boiler, cups, small set of bags of tee or coffee. (Although there is a kitchen in the ground floor, in which you are obliged to go out from you room and ask them). The bed is confortable, but sometimes it makes noise when you change the position. The payment is done in cash only, in which as a sole traveler I am not comfortable to carry such amount of cash with me and plus when I have to withdraw from the cash machine, I have huge fee.
Summary: A bit pricy, but an Ok experience with amazing supportive staff.
