5 Bedroom House in Corolla, Carova

Finding Sandity, located on a semi-oceanfront lot on the 4x4 beach, has better "unobstructed" views than most oceanfront homes in the 4WD area. The 3rd level has a spacious open floor plan with kitchen, dining room, living room, and ships watch. There are plenty of windows in this lovely living area with multiple seating options. The king master bedroom off of the living room has access to the front deck with gorgeous ocean views and panoramic beach views. To the rear of the living area you will find a bonus room with a bunk set for the little ones.
The 2nd level has 3 full bedrooms, king with private bath and deck access, queen with private bath and deck access, a room with a duobunk (double bottom and twin top) and another twin bed, and a 4th bedroom that has been converted to a game room with a pool table and and brand new queen sleeper sofa and deck access. Fantastic views from this level mean sunrises can be viewed without even leaving your bed, but feel free to take the coffee out to the top level and enjoy that beautiful reflection of the sunrise over the ocean.
On the ground level you will find front and rear entry doors, fish cleaning table, outside shower and commode, and a park style grill. The new pool is located in the front next to the ocean!! The front yard has a dune dotted with sea oats that add to the charm of this well located home. Walk to the beach in less than a minute!!!!

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having never been to the 4X4 beach, we didn't know what to expect for ease of access. It was better than we thought, but wow, the sand can get deep to navigate. For sure need to air up and air down tires each time you come and go from the beach. We felt it kept traffic away, which we liked. The beach here is incredible - flat like Destin,FL, tons of shells to find, easy to walk. The house is exactly as we expected it. Tasteful decor, furniture was very nice. Floor plan worked well for us. Interior was clean when we arrived. Hot tub was great and we loved the pool. We had to call for service on the dryer and the team was there within an hour or two to remedy it. Impressive! Things I was disappointed in - kitchen is lacking in major areas of not having a can open, baking tins, no wine glasses, no real mixing bowls, the trash can is way too small for 8 people. The linens provided to us smelled at first....bad....I had to wash them before I would let anyone use them. The kitchen towels given had seen many better days, thin, fraying stained. I couldn't get the smell out of them and opted to use paper towels the rest of the week. The sheets on the master bed would not stay on the bed. I woke up many mornings sleeping on the mattress cover because the sheets popped off. That was frustrating. These are small things and we could remedy on our second trip by bringing these items. We would absolutely rent here again without hesitation. I would just hope the kitchen gets outfitted better. The Food Lion complex it seems is where all the shopping and dining is mostly found, close to the home. There is an ice cream place nearby as well.You can feel the love in the home and waking up having the horses on the dunes out front was something I will never forget! My morning coffee at home just isn't the same! I already want to go back! This is a special space if you want to decompress and forget about life for awhile.
