Positive: Exceptional location. We loved everything. 💜 Beautiful, quiet retreat to get back in touch with nature and get a break and rejuvenate from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Located up a winding mountain road, in the woods, in gated community with amazing, peaceful view of mountains from almost all rooms in the house, and nearby trails. Feels very secluded. Extremely clean, updated interior, and very comfortable beds. Well appointed with most everything you need to cook, grill, including some spices/oils, and everyday kitchen items/small appliances. Also tons of great reading material and games to play. The balcony with dining area and chaise lounges was so peaceful and relaxing to spend time on and enjoy the great view. It was our go to spot upon returning from our outings. The wonderful view was also available from almost all the rooms. Recommend make prior arrangements with host to accommodate you, if can’t climb up to entryway with your things. We were fine, but it is a climb up. Located near many things to do. Hosts are wonderful people. So happy we found this property. We plan on coming back to stay again.
Negative: Would have preferred to know in advance of the email for arrival notice, that we would be on one floor of multistory home, with hosts living above us. Ended up not being a problem at all, and actually fine, as the hosts are delightful people and we didn’t really hear them above us. But it did surprise us, and caught us a little off guard, before our arrival, but turned out to be a really special place to stay.
Summary: Peaceful, quiet place, to recharge, with amazing views throughout the house. Highly recommend.
