Spacious 3600 sq ft log cabin/home located on 3.2 secluded acres with abundant wildlife to enjoy. Beautiful mountain views with Skyland Drive and Shenandoah National Park within view. Fifteen minutes to Skyland Drive and fifteen minutes to Luray Caverns. New Market Battlefield museum nearby. Northern Virginia and Washington, DC about ninety minutes away. Many area attractions for outdoor adventure. Log home has 2 bedrooms with an additional large loft area for additional sleeping and 2 1/2 baths. Sleeps 10 total. Four flat screen televisions with over 150 satellite delivered channels to enjoy. Free WiFi for internet access. Due to the home's remote location internet access may not be consistent at all times. Five decks to enjoy the great outdoors and varied wildlife. Please be aware we reserve the right to decline any booking request to unmarried adults under the age of 25. Check-in time is after 4:00 pm, check-out time is before 10:00 am.

Summary: House was great for my bachelor weekend. My group of nine 27+ adult men, had a no problem sharing the many beds, and were more than comfortable. Only 2 showers was the biggest short coming of the property. The kitchen was more than adequate for the many meals we cooked at the cabin, and the large dinning room table could accommodate our group of nine for meals and board games. The cabin was a short drive from Marys Rock Summit Trailhead in Shenandoah National Park, a nice hike to mix things up from what was otherwise just a 4 day weekend of board games! The only complaint I have was that a crew of workers came to repair/replace roof shingles while we were renting the cabin. This caused a moment of freak out, when they showed up unannounced and starting walking around the cabin, and all our parked cars. I'm disappointed I wasn't notified in advance by the property owner/manager, and it would have been no problem at all. Luckily, the crew was quick to work and not disruptive, and because there were absolutely no other issues I won't be knocking off a star.
