Positive: The property was beautiful and relaxing! Just what we needed! Our room was large, comfortable and had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the rolling hills and the sea. Sheep quietly roamed the property—it was so picturesque! Breakfast was hot and amazing and made with fresh local items. The hosts were very charming and kind! The area is just so beautiful with so much to see in the vicinity—including a castle—so a car is best (although we didn’t have one due to a breakdown and came by taxi). The hosts directed us to an easy and scenic trail to Hendaye through the countryside and along the sea, where we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at their recommendation and a market as well).
Negative: Nothing! We loved this place and would go back! Would work great for pilgrims on the Camino!!
Summary: Relaxation, beauty and authenticity all rolled up in one! So happy we stayed here to experience it all!
