This quaint, circa 1930's cottage on Keuka Lake offers a beautiful view of Keuka's west branch. Located right on the north end of Keuka Lake in Branchport, this cottage has amazing and expansive views of the whole west branch of the lake and gentle sloping lakefrontage/beach area. The water on this end of the lake is quite shallow for a long way out and is perfect for wading and fishing. The cottage is aptly named for it's bright, sunshiney yellow color: Aloha Sunshine. The cottage is on a larger lot and has a yard space for the kids and the dog to run and plenty of lake front pebbled beach. The 30' dock is an excellent spot to fish off of. The cottage has a small, but well stocked, eat-in kitchen. The Dining room comfortably seats 6 and is brightly painted with vibrant colors. From the Dining Room, you'll find the door to the Full bath, with a tub/shower, and the laundry room with both a washer and dryer. You'll also walk from the Dining Room into the Living Room at the front of the house. The two bedrooms come off of the Living Room, with a doorway leading into each bedroom. Bedroom 1 has a Double bed. Bedroom 2 has two Twin beds. From the front of the Living Room, you walk out onto the large front porch. The porch is a great spot to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. This porch has a bit of character built into with a slightly sloping floor from the big oak tree that was planted in front of the cottage many years ago. The tree has grown quite large and provides excellent shade to the house. This cottage is a perfect spot if you are looking for a low-key and inexpensive place to spend time on Keuka Lake. The fishing is good and the cottage is pet-friendly... we can make accommodations for up to 2 (50# or less) dogs. Aloha Sunshine is an older cottage, so if you are looking for a glamorous vacation on the lake...this is not the spot for you. But if you are wanting a few days away at a spot that will allow you to relax with few expectations...this is the cottage for you! **We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25. **Two dogs are allowed per guest stay. Must be 50# or less and well trained. **NO PARTIES allowed at any time. **Smoking prohibited except in outdoor areas. **Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all times. No Exceptions. **Parking for 3 vehicles only. **DOCK USEAGE: This home has a seasonal dock which is not available for use from October to Mid-May. Seasonal docks are made for loading/offloading passengers only and cannot be used to secure watercraft overnight or for any length of time. Guest assumes liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.
