Summary: We stayed 2 nights while exploring Volcanoes National Park. The park entrance is only a 20 minute or so drive away. There is nothing available in the immediate neighbourhood, but Hilo is also nearby (an amazing farmer's market also about 20 min drive away), so we thought the location was great. It was extremely quiet except for the coqui frogs at night, which we loved. The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped with everything we needed (dishes, cookware, drinking water, bedding, everything was perfect), and the communications with the host were quick and efficient, very easy check-in, etc. In short, we had a perfect stay. Our only complaint was the smell of the air freshener when we arrived, but we quickly found the culprit device and once we took it outside, the air was great. Thank you!
