The cozy private master suite upstairs is a bonus! Almost Heaven features a private outdoor hot tub, BBQ grill, gas burning fireplace, and high speed Internet connection. Cabin is approximately 1224 sq ft. There is an air conditioning window unit in upstairs bedroom only for summer months. **Almost Heaven is conveniently located next to other HBC cabins Cedarside, Virginia Canyon Cabin, Serendipity and Golden Pines for large group accommodations. Ruidoso, Alto, and surrounding areas: Submerse yourself within the towering pines of Lincoln County and watch local wildlife such as elk, deer, wild horses, turkey, birds and more in their natural habitats. Whether you are visiting the Land of Enchantment for the slopes of Ski Apache, the thrill of live horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack, or gaming at one of our 3 casinos, this cabin is the perfect rest stop for your New Mexico getaway! Plan a day basking in the stillness of our national forest while hiking, biking or fishing, golfing at one of our multiple golf courses or spend a fun night out on the town! You'll be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle. *Cabin includes basic cable or satellite television, cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer, towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood burning fireplaces. Check-In: Check in is at 4:00 PM (MST). Early arrival is an option if housekeeping has completed cleaning from previous guests. Early arrivals MUST be arranged in advance by contacting us directly. We strongly encourage you to check into the property before 7:00 PM. We are a small community with limited services available after hours. If you arrive after 7:00 PM and are not satisfied with your accommodations we will be unable to change your unit until the next day if we have availability. This policy will not apply if the situation is a reasonable emergency, such as burst water pipe, no electricity, no heat in winter, etc. What items to expect to be stocked during your stay with us: *Linens and Bath Towels *Extra blankets and linens *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs *While our kitchens are fully stocked with one form of coffee maker, glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, condiments, etc. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available and if not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only: *One (1) travel size each of Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Bar soap, and Facial bar soap. *Three (3) rolls of toilet paper: One (1) on holder and two (2) stored in bathroom Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable): *Three (3) rolls of toilet paper: One (1) on holder and two (2) stored in bathroom *One (1) bar soap and/or facial soap Basic supplies in the home: *Five (5) All-Clear laundry pods *Dish detergent and rinse agent *3 Lemi Shine rinse agents in single use cups (under sink) for homes with dishwashers *Dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited) *Liquid dish soap in, at minimum, a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers) *Two (2-3) rolls of paper towels *Two (2) trash liners in each waste basket Consists of one (1) prepared in basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under sink. We encourage guests to always bring extra supplies as housekeeping does not deliver more than what's required to be left in the homes. Check-Out: Check-Out is at 10:00 AM (MST). A late check-out IS available for an additional fee as long as no reservation is scheduled to arrive the same day. Late check-out will be considered but MUST be arranged in advance. Refunds will not be available for departures earlier than reserved departure date. Unapproved late check-out may be subject to late check-out fees, additional night stay charge added or, potential removal of belongings from property after reasonable attempts of been made to notify you of unapproved late check-out.
