Algona Views is a newly renovated affordable self contained 2 bedroom red cedar cottage, situated in the heart of Halls Gap in the Grampians National Park. It’s set amongst beautiful gum trees with stunning Mountain Views to the Pinnacle & Boronia Peak.
The accommodation sleeps up to 4 guests, which is a perfect holiday getaway for families, couples or individuals. We like to try to supply our guests with all they need, for a relaxing & stress free holiday.
The property now has FREE WIFi for our guests to use.
We supply all linen including: bedding, towels, hand towels, bath mats & face washers. There's also Tea, Coffee, Coffee pods, Sugar & Milk.

Ideally situated for a relaxing holiday, Its within easy walking distance to the center of Halls Gap, to enjoy numerous cafes & restaurants, or just sit back & relax on the deck watching the amazing local wildlife. With Kangaroos, Red deer, Kookaburras, cockatoos, just to name a few & even the occasional Echidna are regular visitors.
There's an outdoor fire pit, with permanent seating for guests to enjoy a camping atmosphere, whilst having the comforts of a self contained house. Be sure to bring a bag of Marshmallows to toast on the fire..
(Please not that fire wood won’t be supplied in Summer/ fire danger months, due to the risk of bushfires)
On the back deck you can enjoy cooking that perfect BBQ on the Weber, whilst relaxing on the outdoor settings taking in the stunning views. There's even a sunlounge for those who like to truly relax. The bird life will be sure to drop by for a visit...
There is a 6 km bike/walking track close by that takes you to all that Halls Gap has to offer. Which you can even hire a scooter for a great day out. There's also an abundance of walks to spectacular lookouts and beautiful waterfalls. Other attractions include the Halls Gap Zoo (which is a must), Mini Golf, Fishing, 4x4 tracks, mountain biking, rock climbing & abseiling.
