Positive: We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment sits just off the main square, so cafés, shops, and the city’s lively atmosphere are right outside the door, yet the street stays quiet at night. Inside, the space feels cosy and thoughtfully laid out; climbing the small wooden ladder to the mezzanine bed gives it a fun, tucked-away vibe, and the mattress is genuinely comfortable. Sabine, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly—she stocked the kitchen with proper Italian coffee and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to explore. Everything is within easy walking distance, and there’s a secure parking spot just a couple of minutes away. Highly recommended for couples who want to discover the city on foot and still have a calm spot to unwind.
Negative: Honestly, there’s nothing about the apartment itself we’d change—everything met or exceeded our expectations. The only heads-up is for light sleepers: the church bells start ringing fairly early on Sunday mornings (it’s a local tradition, not a fault of the property). It adds a bit of old-world charm, but if you’re hoping for a lie-in, consider packing earplugs!
