A beautiful detached Grade II listed building, dating back to the early 18th Century. The cottage is very spacious, cosy and comfortable.
Located in the enchanting historic town of Beaminster; a conservation area, of outstanding natural beauty. Located in a peaceful, picturesque and historical area, Albert Cottage is just a few minutes stroll away from the centre of the town.
Beaminster and it is an ideal base for walkers, beach lovers and others who enjoy the charming attractions offered by the town and the surrounding area and coastline in Dorset.
The Jurassic coast is just 15 minutes drive and the superb Lyme Regis is just 30 mins.
Albert Cottage is very well equipped and full of character with charming rustic features throughout. It has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard.
The front door leads into the hallway laid with flag stones. The living room has many rustic features including flag stone floor and beautiful period fireplace, (not in use). The room is bright and spacious with a cosy rug and comfortable seating for 5. There is also a table which could seat 4 to 5 people
There is a large 42" TV, with Freesat, DVD player, iphone/ ipad/ MP3 dock.
The hallway leads to the dining room which is laid to flag stones and has a table and 6 chairs. The dining room leads into the kitchen.
The kitchen is very well equipped with high quality equipment and appliances.
There is a gas cooker, gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, slow cooker, fridge and washing machine. Tumble dryer and Freezer in an out-building/summerhouse opposite back door. The gate visible in photos of the cottage leads to the garden of the house.

Bespoke beautiful King size bed with high quality pocket sprung mattress, exposed wooden floor boards, large wardrobe, chest of drawers.

Two 3' single beds with quality pocket sprung mattresses. Wardrobe with hanging space and shelving. Exposed wooden floor boards, pretty period fireplace (not in use).

The kitchen door leads to the private fenced garden which is safe for children and dogs. There is a sun-trap patio area close to the house and a large with a toilet and basin.
The garden has a good size lawn, flower borders and a second seating area at the far end of the garden.
There are lovely views from the garden of the village and surrounding countryside.
The cottage is very comfortable and homely with central heating throughout.

There are wonderful walks from the cottage and numerous others in the close vicinity.
There is also a selection of books, games DVD'S and toys.
Off street private parking is available for 2 cars.

Albert Cottage is equipped and furnished to the same high standard as The Bothy, Orchard Cottage and Hursey Gate Stables in Broadwindsor (same owner- numerous great reviews on-line.
From the start of the Easter Holidays to the end of October bookings are weekly (minimum) from Friday to Friday.
