Summary: Alamayah is incredible. From the moment you arrive, it's an oasis of tranquility. Beautiful setting, views of the palm trees, the beach and the ocean, and even more beautiful beaches just a short stroll away. Comfortable and well appointed rooms (we stayed in the Tahik suite), great food (both Western and Indonesian), nicely landscaped garden and pool, and great common areas to hang out. Well-managed activities with a keen eye for staying away from the touristy places to give you an authentic Sumba experience, respectful to the local culture. Above all, it was the incredible staff who made our stay so special! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
