Mount Pleasant is where the locals live, eat and drink! Located in the heart of the neighbourhoodr but on a residential street. I love my bright, two level home with tons of windows looking out onto Maple trees.
Decorated mid-century style with vintage and new pieces. Smart TV with Netflix, etc (your own account) Small, friendly complex with your own entrance. Kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Bedroom has a new King size bed for a restful sleep and a balcony in the trees to enjoy morning coffee. Bathroom has shower and bathtub. Free street parking
1 block to public transit, shopping, coffee and restaurants. AND a few blocks to two of Vancouver's first Michelin starred restaurants: Published on Main and Burdock and Co.
25 minute drive to the airport (less if travelling off hours), 35 minutes via public transit.

Summary: Our daughter lives and works in Vancouver. We found this gem of a property 4 blocks from her apartment. The property was very nice for my wife and I. We used the kitchen to make several large meals. Having a grocery store right around the corner was helpful. There is also a nice organic produce store around 20th and Main. I never made coffee because JJ Beans was also right around the corner. Our daughter let us use her car during the day for trips to Lynn Creek in North Vancouver & Pacific Spirit park out by UBC. If our daughter stays at her current apartment we will rent this property again.
