Positive: Location is perfect if you plan to visit the aeolian islands, close to the port but still in a countryside and far from the pollution of industrial Milazzo. The owner of the property is very nice, kind man. He owns the restaurant and eating dinner there is a must- absolutely delicious (no restaurant in Sicily served better food so far). His wine (long family tradition of wine making) will not make you sick so do not be shy to enjoy it. Very comfortable mattresses giving an excellent night rest. The house is surrounded by garden, vineyard and orchard. Great and free parking. Overall, good stay and I would come back anytime.
Negative: It is next to a busy and noisy street but we got a room far from it and had a very quiet and good rest. One must also remember that the old houses are built with tick walls and the moment you close door and windows, it is very quiet inside. People stay here with children and pets (I had pet with me) and if well trained, raised, and behaved, absolutely no danger to them because of the street next to the property.
