Positive: Out of my 10 day vacation in Italy, I have to say this has been the best experience, and the highlight of my kids as we learned to make pizza in Agriturimso Diacceroni. While the place was beautiful, close to towns like Volterra, it was the people that made this experience a once in a lifetime opportunity, and the culture of the people is reflected on legacy that is built upon this place and rich history. From the very start when we ate dinner, Ileana made us feel very special, we quickly connected with her and made us feel right at home. The next day she gave us the pizza cooking class and she poured her soul, teaching us about the intracacies of the dough, the fresh ingredients, the cooking process. During this trip we went to Rome, Venize, Florence and while we did good tours and spectacular scenary, it was Ileana’s pizza cooking class that was the true highlight of the vacation for my family (wife and kids) and through her, we were very grateful to getting to know the local culture.
