Summary: The property was so beautiful, both inside and in the surrounding gardens, landscape and nearby buildings. The location was fantastic. The washer / dryer was a welcome amenity. The only issue I had was when some unruly (possible?) guests were unable to get the single front door to work at about 4:30 in the morning and woke us up with their screaming and excessive and aggressive pounding on the door. A call to the hotel help line did not resolve the issue, as someone was sent to the property, and was unable to open the door from the outside. When we called back to the hotel, we were asked to open the door. This was very disruptive to our ability to sleep, as we were already tired from travelling multiple time zones. We received no acknowledgement or even thanks from the hotel for helping out with a situation that was not of our doing, in the middle of the night. I expected more from a property of this caliber.
