Welcome to the Abba Casa, a magical Mediterranean escape in the heart of Central Los Angeles. After a short stroll through the private courtyard filled with rosemary, lavender and roses, you will feel instantly transported as you enter the home. Inside you'll find a delightful combination of old world charm and modern amenities, striking colors, eclectic art and vintage furniture. The first room you'll enter is the living room, with bright yellow walls, countless art/photography books, board games, and a fireplace, plus large french doors opening onto the patio. Next, the huge, modern gourmet kitchen is bathed in natural light with doors and windows spilling out onto the inviting, Spanish tiled patio and pool area where you can dine al fresco, sun by the pool, or take in the Koi pond and recharge from your day. Up the spiral staircase, you'll find the first bedroom - the Pink Room - which overlooks the pool and has a comfortable queen sized bed, tv with apple tv, and en suite bathroom with beautiful handmade tile and a luxurious walk in shower. The room receives beautiful light during the day, but has blackout shades for those who want to sleep in undisturbed! Continuing down the hallway, you'll enter the Treehouse - our den/family room. The Treehouse has windows on 3 sides overlooking the pool and foliage in the backyard, and vines have grown inside on the walls and around the windows. It's a bright, invigorating space perfect for morning yoga/meditation, or piling onto the enormous sofa to watch a movie on the extra large tv. Returning to the hallway, you'll find an exposed wooden staircase which continues to the third floor. To your left is an open concept sleeping area with a queen sized bed, plus a comfortable sofa which converts to a full sized sleeper. This space has its own tv with apple tv as well. to your right is a desk, with printer, an open space with an exercise bike, and another private bedroom with queen sized bed. The third floor also features another standout bathroom, with floor to ceiling tiles, an oversized bathtub, and glass wall shower Abba Casa is centrally located in the West Adams Historic District in Central Los Angeles - we are (depending on traffic, of course) 15-20 minutes from most of the city (Venice, Culver City, Downtown LA, Silverlake, Echo Park, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills). That being said. we've had countless guests arrive with a full agenda for their visit only to cancel plans to spend more time relaxing in our home!
