Vacation in style at this waterfront, luxurious and spacious 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sofa bed in living room (home sleeps 8) with HEATED salt water pool and spa home (you do not pay extra for the heated pool and spa) and outdoor shower sits along the Zephyr Canal, the widest canal, 250' wide, in South Gulf Cove. Watch lots of boats going by on this canal while enjoying lounging in the lanai looking out the panoramic lanai screen with unobstructed views or on the 80' paved deck and 60' dock at the seawall all overlooking the canal AND 12,000LB BOAT LIFT! Home is also located on a quiet side street culdesac great for walks and bike rides in the area. This home is perfect for a quiet getaway, a golfer's dream, relaxing vacation or fisherman’s paradise. Publix Market is only 8 min drive and Dollar General just before entering South Gulf Cove.
Split Floor Plan for additional privacy
Master Bedroom suite on one side of the home and the other 2 generously sized bedrooms and full bath located on the other side of the home with sliding pocket door for additional privacy for you and your family/friends/guests. 2 of the bedrooms offer access through sliding doors to and overlooking the lanai/pool/canal offering water views of canal. Also there is a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate a couple more guests.

Located in South Gulf Cove, a relaxed waterfront community just minutes to Boca Grande Beaches and close to the white sandy beaches of Manasota Key. Also convenient to the areas 15 public golf courses.
Large family home, with 2098 square foot living area under air and over 3000 including the lanai, high ceilings throughout with large master suite with private bath and offers a split floor plan for the guest bedrooms and other full guest bathroom separated by a sliding pocket door for privacy. Great views from the main living space with Oversized 10' tall sliding glass doors leading to the oversized lanai.
The pool area overlooks a 250' wide canal which attracts many of Florida's wildlife including birds, many types of fish, wild pig and even alligators. The back is very private and the homes across the canal are over 300' away offering more privacy than most other homes in the area.
You are welcome to use your fishing equipment, but, please practice catch and release. The canals lead to the Interceptor Waterway that runs the entire length of the community. The water is brackish and home to many species of fish including redfish, snook, trout, ladyfish, sheepshead, snapper as well as some decent sized tarpon and large mouth bass. Blue crabs are very big and abundant here as well.
After a full day of fishing, sunbathing and/or touring the area relax on the comfortable furnishings of the living room while kids watch movies or play games in the living room.
If you enjoy sports, Only 10 minutes to the Charlotte County Sports Complex, home of the spring training camp for the Tampa Bay Rays and home to the Stone Crabs. There are a dozen great golf courses, marinas, miles of bike trails and world class fishing in the immediate area.

Summary: My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation. You couldn’t ask for a more relaxing pool/spa/view. We did have some questions on how to heat the spa, but Michele was super responsive and walked me through everything, also shared a great video which shows you how to run the pool system. The house was well stocked with everything for the kitchen and a bunch of pool toys and beach items (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc). There were 2 bikes which we rode one day but they could use some repairs to the brakes and gears. Still, it’s a great area to bike around. The neighborhood was super quiet. We saw alligators in the wide canal, lots of birds and lizards. Just be aware it’s mostly a residential area, which we liked, but not close to touristy areas. Venice was about 40 mins away with a nice historical downtown area with shops and restaurants. We golfed at Long Marsh at Rotunda on a rainy day and had the course to ourselves… saw tons of alligators and birds there, it was so fun! Also we highly recommend going down to Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande, a small laid back little island town. The beaches were perfect for shelling and finding sharks teeth- and the water is gorgeous and warm. It’s only about a 20 min drive from the house, so very close. Our only wish was that there were more restaurants close by. However it’s such a relaxing place we would definitely go back! Thank you Michele!
