This 950+SF 3 bedroom, 2 bath beautiful lakefront lodge suite features a wood post and beam ceiling, wood walls, hardwood floors and a wilderness decor to give it a cozy cabin feel.
SLEEPING 7, this suite, is outfitted with high quality mattresses (1 queen, 2 double, 1 twin), color coordinated sheets and wilderness quilts to add to the authentic cabin feel.
WAKE UP TO THE VIEW OF THE LAKE AND DOCK from the master bedroom in a custom wood frame queen bed.
ENJOY THE LAKE VIEW... from the living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite counter tops, a granite island, dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave and more.
COZY UP ON A RAINY OR SNOWY DAY with a good book next to the electric fireplace, or enjoy various movies on the large (50+ inch) flat screen TV, via VHS/DVD or HDMI connections ( you bring your favorite down loaded movies on your i-pad). Listen to your favorite music on the CD/smartphone music player. Engage in some friendly family competition with the large selection of board games.
PRIVATE 40 FOOT COVERED LAKE SIDE BALCONY is accessed off the living room and master bedroom and is complete with a barbecue, small patio table and seating for 2.
ENJOY SUMMER SUNSET MEALS around the patio table with umbrella and seating for six to eight on a large lower deck, accessed from the balcony.
THE BEST VIEW OF THE LAKE is at the lakes edge in the adirondack chairs. Bring your good book, coffee or wine and savor the view of the lake in the day and starry sky in the night.
WATCH THE KIDS...From the suite, balcony and deck you can see the dock, swimming, beach and fishing areas.
GAMES ROOM FUN...On rainy or snowy days stay dry and access the games room by the covered walkway and enjoy a game of pool, foose ball, ping pong, or air hockey. Relax in the casual seating areas, borrow a book or movie from the lending library, stay in touch with friends and family using the landline phone. (CELL PHONE DO NOT WORK ON THE RESORT. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE ON RESORT.) Internet can be accessed in the suite for a nominal daily per device fee.
ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS...Put on your bathing suit and dive off the 60 foot floating dock into the swimmer friendly lake (no leeches here!) or pull yourself back and forth from shore to the dock on the “Jolly Rodger Pirate Ship” floating barge (always a favorite for the young kids).
BRING YOUR BEACH TOYS AND BUILD SANDCASTLES, or spread out your beach blanket and soak up the sun. Grab a life jacket and take out a canoe, paddle boat or an aluminum row boat, at no charge, and explore the shore line and little islands of the 2 mile long lake. Be bold and try cliff jumping.
ENJOY FRESH WATER FISHING? Idabel Lake is stocked annually with Rainbow and Brook trout. In the summer bring your fishing rod, worms, net, tackle and electric motor and use one of the free aluminum row boats. Kids love to walk along the shore and use their long handled kiddy nets to catch crayfish. In the winter dress warm and bring your auger and ice fishing equipment. Even if you don’t catch “the BIG one….A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work !”
LIKE TO MOUNTAIN BIKE, HIKE OR ATV? Idabel Lake is a tranquil lake surrounded by multiple km’s of trails and forestry roads and is close to many lakes for your venturing, including McCulloch and Haynes Lakes (only 20 minute walk from resort). The popular KETTLE VALLEY RAILWAY TRAIL extends over 55 kms from Myra Canyon to Beaverdell, and is accessible less than 5 km from the resort.
PLAY ON THE IDABEL LAKE RESORT PROPERTY: Whether you prefer a game of soccer, bocci ball, or badminton, the resorts grass field is waiting for you. Basketball nets are available for a game of hoops. There are plenty of paved areas for young ones to ride their bikes, scooters and skateboards as well as a playground equipped with swings, a slide and a small log house to explore. Adults, bring your coffee and enjoy the morning sun while sitting on the log swing while the kids play.
ALL AGES CAN ENJOY SMORES AND HOTDOGS AROUND THE CENTRAL FIRE PIT and there are ample picnic tables to enjoy an outdoor lunch or snack anytime.
PREFER WINTER ACTIVITIES? Bring your snowmobiles, skis (Nordic ski/snowshoe track is just 5km from the resort, Big White only 20 minutes), ice fishing supplies and ice-skates for lake skating (ice dependent). Lots of tobogganing areas on the resort, and have fun building forts with the piles of snow.

(Kelowna/ Big White/ Beaverdell) So please ensure you bring all your food and necessary condiments as there are no food amenities on site.
