LOCATION:
On Rockford’s east side, this tucked away little neighborhood of mid-1950’s & 60’s homes is centrally located, quiet and safe. Best of all it borders beautiful Aldeen Park which includes wooded hiking paths, wide open spaces and a nature center. Nearby is Alpine Hills Adventure Park for tubing, snow boarding and zip lining! The Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club is next door. Other public golf courses are close by. Close to everything anyone would need—good restaurants, grocery stores and services are all minutes out the door. Downtown Rockford with The River District, Davis Park, Nicholas Conservatory & Sinnissippi Park, Rockford Art Museum, Burpee Natural History Musuem and many other attractions and events are only 10 minutes away... as is the world famous Anderson Japanese Gardens and Frank Loyd Wright’s Laurent House. In addition to the things that are listed nearby, Sportscore I & II and UW Sports Factory facilities are within 15 minutes. Rock Cut State Park is 15 minutes away. For being in the middle of everything, you'll find it amazingly quiet and private here.

FUTURE SHORT TERM REQUESTS: Unfortunately, we do not commit to shorter term stays (7 days or less) several months in advance. Do ask about future dates though. We will do our best to see if we can accommodate you. We also offer additional discounts for stays more than 30 days. SORRY NO OTHER DISCOUNTS OUTSIDE THE WEEKLY DISCOUNT FOR UNDER 30 DAYS (the price as quoted by VRBO includes the 15% weekly and 30% monthly discounts). For long term stays an additional security deposit may be required.
NUMBER OF GUESTS: As stated, the house can accommodate up to 10 people. 8 very comfortably. A queen or double or twin sized air bed can be provided after 8 guests or should someone want their own bed for a supplemental fee. Please inquire for special sleeping arrangements.
NO PARTY POLICY:
All guests are sent the No Party Policy and asked to abide by it.
PETS: Overall, pets are not allowed. However, small pets under 60 lbs may be considered on a case-by-case basis per the Host's discretion. An agreement to a set of rules/contract is required along with a $25 per night per animal fee if a pet is allowed. A $250 pet deposit will be required for longer term stays*. This is in addition to the $250 security deposit. Service animals may require documentation of proof. Support animals will require a filled out questionnaire as well as documentation. A final walk-through will also be required prior to departure. Regardless of classification type, guests are responsible for any damage, replacement or extensive cleaning due to their animals.
