Scottish by birth and Burgundian by adoption, Louise welcomes you to an authentic country house from the end of the 19th century, fully restored, nestled in peace on the edge of an alley, in the heart of a peaceful little perfectly preserved rural hamlet nestled "in balcony" on the hillside on a well-exposed south-eastern hillside overlooking the sublime local bocage (home to the famous Charolais cows & horses in season), under the wooded hills of a vast wild forest massif located a stone's throw away (to be explored during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides / equipped, among other things, with a literal "Sea of Stones", a geological curiosity made up of several clearings of granite blocks of all sizes over nearly a kilometer). Total tranquility in the countryside, on the borders of Clunisois & Charolais, not far from the first vineyards in the hollow of the green Guye valley (& its fish-filled river), soothing rural & natural hilly setting combining pasture meadows, ponds, rivers & forests (protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" & "ZNIEFF" for its rich fauna & flora), rich in various superb panoramic "belvederes" (as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day!). Very comfortable cottage. Warm country style mixing contemporary "colorful pop" spirit & subtle "vintage" touches, enhanced by the exotic soul of an old traditional building.
