We designed your experience at B-side to be enjoyed however you like. Austin hotspots and events are a just a walk or a ridiculously short rideshare away from our super central location. But with a well-appointed kitchen, happenin' restaurants, bars, and coffee shops just a short stroll away, and super comfy you may not go very far.
Clean and colorful, modern and serene, B-side is full of thoughtful touches we always wanted in the places we've rented including:
- Netflix, and HBONow via Roku: movies on us
- Bluetooth soundbar and sub: for your tunes
- Vintage '60s record console and vinyl to peruse
- Digital door lock: losing keys is now impossible
- Nest thermostat: dial in the comfy
- 100% Solar electricity: save that planet
- Gas range and real pots/pans: for actual cooking
- Unlimited hot water: a real shower for everyone
- Security cameras: exterior only, of course
- Dogs to cuddle: because we know you miss yours
- Available alarm system: never hurts to feel safe
Be as private or as social as you like. While you'll enjoy your own private entrance and the freedom to keep to yourself, our home, a good conversation, and a mean cocktail are often just a quick walk across the bridge. We're both outgoing, creative professionals who enjoy meeting our guests and making new friends. We love to talk about our two German Shepherds, motorcycles, burlesque, pole dancing, Burning Man, and more. So don't be shy. Or do.
Pet Accommodations (please read carefully):
- Please select that you have pets before you request your stay.
- Sorry, no cats as we're allergic.
- Include with your request a little about your doggo. Size, breed, temperament, and traveling experience really help! We love ALL breeds so feel free to share so we can understand size.
- There is a nightly fee of $20 (negotiable for multiple dogs)
- All dogs must be crated if left alone (we have crates, don't worry!)
- If they cause damage, cause additional intensive cleaning, have an accident, etc, you will incur an additional fee.
- You are responsible for their outdoor business which, to avoid any possible issues with our pups, must not be conducted in our fenced back yard. We will provide a bin for potty bags.
Additional Cleaning Services/Fees:
B-side is spotless. It’s a point of pride for us. But when you stay anywhere for more than a week things can get...lived in. To that end, we require a mandatory refresh courtesy of our super cool housekeeper Benny for every 7 nights spent at B-side. These $60 fees reset B-side to the same standards it was at when you arrived. Think “hotel, but awesome.” Need the laundry done? No problem. While there are no laundry facilities in B-side we can take a bit of work off your hands during these additional cleaning visits.* While the reset is mandatory for every 7 nights of the reservation we try to work with your schedule. Have it done halfway thru or right before the weekend. Our housekeeper just comes by while you’re out adventuring and you come home to a clean bed. Oh, and your dogs will love him. Ours do. :)
Pole Dance in your living room:
Roxie is a pole dance performer and certified instructor and judge. So naturally, we equipped B-side with two permanently mounted dance poles and a rig point for aerial silks, lyra, and more. If you're interested in private lessons they're available for an additional fee. Note: Poles and rig point not accessible without a host present. Sorry, no private monkey business.
Cherrywood, our little 'hood:
When people talk about Austin locations, they talk about 6th Street. Chances are you've also heard the term "Eastside" brought up. This refers to the more recently popular real estate east of I-35. You can find lots of nightlife with bars, restaurants, and events directly east of downtown around Cesar Chavez and East 6th Street, but as you creep steadily northward you'll find hip little hoods like Cherrywood, which we call home, that allow you to escape the madness while still being close by for when it's time to jump back into the fray. Cherrywood boasts some stellar coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and more within a 10-minute walk of the B-side. So feel free to stick around.
