Summary: I just stayed in this apartment last week with my husband and 2 kids. The location was great, close to the metro and walkable to several restaurants. The accommodations were fine, overall, but didn’t exactly match the online pictures. The living room walls were spackled and the dining chairs are so worn and cracked. The bathroom sink faucets are loose. The worst part of our stay was the lack of hot water. I messaged with the host before booking (after reading other reviews that mentioned hot water issues) and he reassured me it had been taken care of. That was not true. We couldn’t get through 2 showers before the hot water ran out. The water ran cold in the bathroom sinks as well. When I messaged the host to make him aware (he was very responsive during the booking process), I received no response. Radio silence. I received an email after I completed my check-out survey mentioning my message and that it hadn’t been received until then. I don’t believe that. I was offered an apology and a 15% discount on my next stay with Pick A Flat. Too little too late in my opinion.
