Positive: The hosts were really thoughtful and were there to welcome us. They made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome to the house. This made a difference. The barbecue and the pool were the highlight of our stay, nevertheless, the house is super well-equipped and comfortable. The house has an amazing view of the horizon and Serra da Estrela making watching sunsets there incredible.
Negative: - We were two people so we had plenty of space, but we couldn't help thinking if we were 6 (full house capacity). - The house has only one bathroom, so coordinating can be tricky. Also, the living room is connected to the kitchen so the sofa only seats 2 people comfortably. - We didn't love the shower having a curtain but this was a small detail. - There are two bedrooms on the ground floor (1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 twin beds) and the other 2 beds (twins) are located on the first floor of the house but there's no division with the rest of the open space, so the sleeping area feels less cozy.
