A short 3 min walk (0.2 miles) to the Cumberland River with world class trout fishing and only 25 min to Dale Hollow. From the expansive deck watch for deer, bald eagles, and other local wildlife. Bring your boat, canoes, or kayaks! Enjoy outdoor living with smores over the fire, reading in a hammock, rock painting, and a stroll to the rivers edge. The bunk loft has four twin sized mattresses, and the living room has a full sized pull out sofa to sleep 5. The kitchen provides a full sized fridge, stove, and oven and has all necessities for family meals. This is also a great location for fire side cook outs. There is a mini outdoor workspace for meal prep or processing your catch of the day. You will want to pre-plan your groceries as your retreat is 25 min to a grocery store. Note that the private boat ramp is shared with a handful of other home owners on the street.

Summary: I stayed at the Treehouse September 21-22nd - this is paradise for trout fishermen (and women !) ! The property looks out over a wide swath of farmland where deer could be seen grazing. The Cumberland River is a short walk down from the cabin and from the ramp you can walk out into the river and chase trout ! I caught two nice rainbows early Sunday morning, and then switched over to my boat from the ramp in downtown Burkesville. The weather was perfect all weekend. Madison goes beyond the call of duty to make certain your stay is enjoyable - I will be back !
