About 300 m from the holiday home you can rent a boat to explore the fjord on your own or go on an exciting fishing trip. If you prefer not to drive the boat yourself, use the taxi boat that will take you to the most exciting places in the district, or take a trip on the Øysang ferry, Norway's oldest ferry with three boats operating between Risør and Øysang. Within walking distance are fine, small sandy beaches, both on the lake and on the sea. In the nearby holiday center Jegertunet there is a heated outdoor pool (open in summer, only for a fee), a restaurant, a kiosk and a furniture store. Here you can also buy a fishing license for the fish-rich Skarvannet. Best also opportunities for shore fishing. The catch can be filleted in the outdoor kitchen of the holiday home.
